All Sharona "Sid" Dugan wanted was to be able to pay her bills, lose a few pounds, and spend time with her children. But after she helps her boss with a problem, everyone wants Sid's help. She finds herself facing possible arrest after tangling with a fire escape. Things go downhill after that. There is the septic overflow which draws her in like a swamp sucking monster. The mirror kissing teenage girls are almost her undoing. And Sid ends up in the emergency room after rescuing a tiny pampered dog. All this time, Sid tries to figure out the new lady in town--lovely, mysterious Bernadine Meriweather. Sharona's adventures will have the reading cringing in sympathy and laughing out loud at her accidental antics. This is the first in the Sharona Dugan series.
