One Celebrating 50 Years of Compassion

This is a great book about a great organization. I have sponsored children through Compassion International (CI) for about 7 months. I didn't know the history of CI until I read this book. It is amazing to me that one man could start something so big. CI exists to help the whole child not just so he/she will do something important some day, but because he/she is important now. This book is filled with pictures and information about individuals. They are real people who matter to God and should matter to us. Compassion pairs one child with one sponsor so a relationship can form so that one child knows he/she matters. As it turns out, the sponsor discovers he/she matters too. CI has found sponsors for more than one million children. I highly recommend buying this book. The price is right and what you learn could change your life and the life of a child.
