Mia is a talented high school music teacher and an adept equestrian who lives on a ranch in the small town of Ojai, California.
Owen is an internationally famous composer and conductor with a questionable reputation.
During a chance encounter on a riding trail, Mia has an unpleasant confrontation with Owen who is riding recklessly and endangering other riders. Owen is caught off-guard,

On the other hand, the revelation could complicate the dynamics between all individuals involved, and could end his relationship with Mia.
