I was born in Drayton Bassett in 1943 in the row of white cottages over the other side of the road from the club. The village has changed a lot over the years. When I was growing up, everyone knew everyone else, but like everywhere, it had to change with the times. But it's still a beautiful village and the people who live there are lucky to call it home.
