What if the sleeping beauty never woke up? Now in a deluxe paperback edition featuring gorgeous printed edges Break the curse in this tale inspired by Sleeping Beauty, from the New York Times bestselling series that reimagines beloved Disney films. It should be simple-a dragon defeated, a slumbering princess in a castle, a prince poised to wake her. But when the prince falls asleep as his lips touch the fair maiden's, it is clear that this fairy tale is far from over. With a desperate fairy's last curse controlling her mind, Princess Aurora must escape from a different castle of thorns and navigate a dangerously magical landscape--created from her very own dreams. Aurora isn't alone--a charming prince is eager to join her quest, and old friends offer their help. But as Maleficent's agents follow her every move, Aurora struggles to discover who her true allies are and, moreover, who she truly is. Time is running out. Will the sleeping beauty be able to wake herself up?
After reading As Old As Time, I was expecting this one to be just as good, if not better than it. Aurora is one of my favorite Disney characters and this book didn't do her justice, she was boring, even Maleficent; another favorite of mine, was dull. For me nothing really grabbed me, which is what I look for in a book, something to grab my attention and make it hard to put the book down. This one, unfortunately, didn't do that; the only reason I finished it is one: because I hate to leave things unfinished and two: because I wanted to see how it ended, which was very disappointing
Seriously, don't waste your time.

Aurora was probably the most frustrating character I've read in a while. Even Maleficent was bored with the story and it was her dream world. I quit reading halfway through because I just couldn't deal anymore. U drug on forever and went absolutely no where.
I'm really disappointed with this book. I was really looking forward to it and was horribly upset by how poorly it played out.
