Peak fairytale romance and adventure

Magical and lovely

Caraval Series is Better

I was excited for this spin-off series of Caraval because Caraval was stunning, full of vivid imagery, and just overall captivating in an enchanting and beautiful way. When I started Once Upon A Broken Heart though, I had to force myself to finish it. The concept was promising, meaning that the storyline was captivating and had a lot of potential. But it was poorly executed; it was so repetitive it felt like the story was dragging out. Disappointed for sure.

Charming, enchanting tale

A most captivating story! I haven’t read the Carnival series, which are supposedly a precursor, and I still immensely enjoyed this. I can’t wait for the next one!

Guys, READ THIS BOOK!!! It's a kinda continuation of the Caraval Series so you might want to read that first but then please, please, please read this book. This is my new favorite book of all time and that's saying something. It is very interesting and has lots of twists and turns. The romance is amazing and well written. I just have to wait for the next book to come out 😥
