On United States Mass Shootings

The severity of the effects on organisms, especially human males, of histamine and serotonin biochemical interactions - and their subsequent behaviors - has been vastly underestimated in the scientific community. Humans, like all life, are sensitive to their environment. We see mass shootings, 100% done by men, that occur only in spring and fall. Of the mass shootings 5/7 occur in spring and 2/7 in fall. We also see that spring has 5/7 of the pollen months and fall 2/7. Pollen affects serum histamine which has an inverse effect on serum serotonin. Serotonin has a large influence on human behavior and men have 52% more serotonin than women. Thus, we see a causal model for United States mass shootings where, as pollen levels decline after the month of the specific pollen peak, mentally unstable men allergic to that pollen will have excessively high serum serotonin levels leading them to impulsive actions like mass shootings. This knowledge can be used as a potential predictor for law enforcement and medical agencies for a given city or region. Mental health professionals would be advised to lower serotonin boosting meds and even supplement antihistamine and sedative medications to male patients in the timeframes of March through June, for spring tree pollens especially juniper tree pollen, and from September through November, for fall ragweed weed pollen.
