This is a poetry book about a dirty word -- addiction. The first book I wrote began my journey of speaking all of the words I never said. And now I continue this journey talking about a struggle that so many face that has been stigmatized to the point of silence. Addiction is much more than Hollywood portrays and it can affect anyone, even and especially those you would never expect. These words are meant to bring awareness to the struggle of sobriety whether from substance or other addictions.
