Stan Gates, the guy everyone thought of when it came to living life fully. He lived for adventure and carpe diem. Stan's world is turned up side down when his Parents are killed in an auto accident just before graduating high school. For his first time, he can't find his passion for living. Having no family around, Stan leaves his best friend, Josh Stevens, behind and travels to the country of Panama to try and rediscover his passion for living by re-starting his life.Good fortune smiles on Stan as he is taken under the wing of the Franklin family as soon as he lands. Josh still has his beloved girlfriend, Caty, and the memories of his best friend.Stopping at a gas station on the way down the mountain, an amazing thing happens. Josh sees his deceased friend walking back up to the mountains, waving for him to join along. It is then that Josh remembers a solemn promise they made many years before that they never completed. Leaving Caty behind, Josh starts off following the specter of Stan back into the mountains.As Josh travels into the mountains he comes in contact with a couple of very suspicious people. Before he knows it they pull him into a very deadly situation. Now the question becomes a matter of escaping this pair who have every intention of killing Josh. It will take the familiar specters of Stan and others as well as Josh's own personal faith to find salvation. Can he pull on the memories of Stan's faith as he faced death in Panama?
