One Million Marks is a collection of pen and ink mark-making drawings that depicts every student enrolled at Oakland School for the Arts during the 2017 - 2018 school year. The drawings were displayed in the school during the last two weeks of the year and sold to the students with all of the profits going to Refugee Transitions, an organization that helps refugees from across the globe start new lives in the Bay Area. One Million Marks was made to inspire young artists to use their talents for positive change and the advancement of peace, in a world that far too often lets hatred, greed, and hierarchy guide our path as global citizens.
