Explaining the unexplainable

I've enjoyed every David Rosenfelt book I've read, from the "dog" series to the "Black" series. No exception here. It's a combination of mystery and science fiction and a little "King" eeriness, while keeping a sense of humor and reality. I rooted for the protagonist from page one and had no idea how Rosenfelt would write his way out of the box in which he put "Richard Kilmer". But he did. He explained the unexplainable. I didn't try to figure out...I just went along for the ride and was glad I did. Grab it. It's a keeper.
