A Bewitching Riot!

Mildred Hubble isn't what you'd call an effective witch. Far from it, in fact. After one year at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches she has picked up a few nifty tips and tricks as a budding witch, but even with these handy she manages to cause trouble no matter where she goes. I fell in love with Mildred Hubble when I saw the film THE WORST WITCH on the Disney Channel years and years ago, and my fondness has only grown now that I've read four novellas starring the lovable witch. Mildred Hubble is a girl who will win your heart in mere moments. Her sweet disposition, extreme determination, and ability to find herself in an assortment of tragedies - which she manages to triumph over each and every time - is endearing; while the slew of friends and foes she encounters along the way add an extra dimension to her harrowing tales.
