I had the good fortune of meeting Santhosh Rāvel, the man behind Swānandāshrama, in the late 1990s outside the famous Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple in Jayanagar 4th Block. He invited me to visit the Āshram and we had the pleasure of doing that many times in the 2000s

The Swānandāshrama core team wanted to build a massive temple complex and we could chip in our little bit for the initial Mahā Gaṇapati temple
