Ollies Little Book of Daft Poems

Many years ago I read a book called A bin full Milligan by the wonderful late Spike Milligan. There was one poem that struck me with its beautiful wacky simplicity, this is the poem that inspired me to start writing my own poems. Lady Barnaby takes her ease Knitting overcoats for fleas By this kindness fleas are smitten That's why she's very rarely bitten. I've read that poem thousands of times and it's always made me smile and always will. It has taken me almost 40 years to get round to putting pen to paper, or finger to keyboard, but better late than never. My Poems are my views, my observations of life in general, some I hope you find comical, some serious.
