Ollie's Apology

By Craig Nelsen

Ollie's Apology is four days in the life of an American kid who asks, during the state-mandated Holocaust education segment in his high school's history class, "Why do we always talk about the Holocaust genocide but never about the genocide going on right now in Gaza?" Ollie's question trips a political wire deep within the American system and unleashes forces he can't even identify, let alone control.

As events spiral, Ollie's whole town turns against him, his friends and family betray him, and Ollie is forced to rewrite his people's history, his country's history, his town's history, and even his own family's history. At the shocking climax, Ollie's world has changed and he must decide how to change with it.
