We are pleased to present to you Olivita Oink's Bilingual Barnyard. This is the first installment of a series of DVD instructional Spanish courses. This semester Spanish curriculum is the first of its kind, created specifically for elementary aged children.While watching the instructional DVD classes, your children will be hearing and reading a great deal of Spanish. It is imperative that the students be encouraged to repeat the phrases with the instructor. In the beginning, it is not as important that children understand every detail they are studying. Comprehension increases by the basic repetition of the phrases. Our own native language was learned as a child, by simply listening to and repeating key words and phrases. Gradually, our understanding increased into the broad vocabulary that we use in our daily lives. Therefore, repetition is the key.
