Olivia Newton-John, AO, OBE, born on 26th September 1948, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, UK was a British-Australian singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and activist. She won 4 Grammy awards, having had five # 1 hits with 10 other top ten Billboard Hot 100 singles, and 2 chart-topping Billboard 200 solo albums. Eleven of her singles and 14 of her albums have been certified gold by the RIAA, including two platinum singles, with 2 platinum and 4 double platinum L.P.s, having sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide. She starred in the musical film Grease, its soundtrack having been one of the most successful in history, the single "You're the One That I Want", with John Travolta, being one of the best-selling singles of all time. Olivia has been a long-time activist for environmental and animal rights issues. In remission from breast cancer from 1992 until its metastasis that was discovered in 2017, she's been an advocate for health awareness, becoming involved with various charities, health products, and fund-raising efforts. Her business interests have included launching several product lines for Koala Blue and co-owning the Gaia Retreat & Spa in Australia. Newton-John has been married twice, being the mother of one daughter, Chloe Rose Lattanzi, with her first husband, actor Matt Lattanzi, before she married John Easterling in 2008.
