Oliver Jones, is a young teenage boy with a rare ability he must master. He one day finds a mysterious drawing and journal; and immediately starts to see beings coexisting along side humans, that are invisible to everyone else but him.

The next day, Oliver's twin brother Jessie gets hit by a car and is in a deep coma. Oliver along with three other teens cast a spell given to them by an odd old woman to try and bring Jessie out of his coma. The spell goes wrong, and the quartet vanishes from their homes without a trace.

Oliver crosses over into a parallel universe that exist in the very same space his world occupies, and where every person he meets is the duplicate of someone from his world. He enters a 14 billion year old realm, where the highly protected secret of life is stored. But a dangerous enemy is tracking Oliver's every move.

He must pull together all the pieces before the entire system of the universe shuts down.
