How do we process loss? Death is so hard, and final. And even more difficult; how do we teach our children to walk through the emotions that come, following such a loss? A good friend lost her beloved Grandma, and I knew it would be a struggle to help explain it all to her almost-two-year-old daughter (who is two weeks younger than my own daughter). After watching my own daughter be able to understand life's situations better, after reading some of her favorite children's books, I knew that I wanted to gift her daughter with a guide to help understand the hurt, pain and frustration, and eventual pride and love that would come after their loss. So here it is. My attempt at explaining the impossible, possible. A story about a little girl, who loses her beloved Grandma, and the journey her emotions take her on, as she eventually finds love, joy, and pride, in the memory of her beloved Grandma. It is my sincere hope that this book falls into the hands of children, parents, adults, and every single one of us that needs a simple guide to help us process the emotions of loss. Thank you SO MUCH for supporting my book. It truly means the world to me. XO Deb
