Olga's Sputnik (and five other poems)

Paul Luke was born in Caerphilly in 1953. He left Wales for London in 1977 and spent most of his working life in finance, some high, some not so. In 2020, he privately published a short book called Ramblings about Poems, where, at the behest of his daughter Rhiannon, he selected about 30 poems and analysed them. Since then, he has been challenged to write some poems of his own. However, an attempt to compose 30 poems ended in failure and frustration. He found writing poetry quite hard and the emergence of Artifical Intelligence left open the possibility of being accused of using AI to ghost write his poems. In the end, he composed six poems ( unAI-ded) and these are reproduced in this extremely short book. He will never write another poem.
