This is the Story of Old Tom.
Based loosely on fairy tales and folklore, its set in a small village in Ireland and sees Tom take a shortcut home through an enchanted woodland after enjoying too much whiskey at the local Inn. The woodland is home to the Fey folk or Fairies and deep within the woodland there is a sacred glade. Tom has always wanted to believe in them and goes in search for the sacred glade. He eventually finds a beautiful Glade with a circle of wild mushrooms growing upon the softest green grass, and slowly but surely the truly ancient and magical inhabitants begin to weave their spell.
