Nostalgic!

I loved the old stories and poems included. Most of the patterns use crochet cotton and smaller needles. The stuffed toys and doll clothes use 4 ply yarn. Also, 2 hats, 1 bedjacket, 2 shawls and 8 afghans use 4 ply yarn. I would recommend this book for those with intermediate to advanced crochet skills. The pictures of completed projects are great. In this book, Victorian crochet patterns are perserved.
