great childrens stories with a message

These animal stories are read to keep the younger child interested, read by some very good readers and the music is very calming and would make great bedtime stories. Even the small child will listen to these very cute animal stories with a message.

AudioFile Magazine: Wonderful, gentle stories for children.

Reading character parts, McDaniel, Sussman and Miller retell four of Burgess's stories featuring Peter Rabbit in his quest to find out why animals are so different from one another. The number of readers per story varies from two to three, adding vocal variety to the set. These gentle tales are performed in equally gentle tones, with mild excitement and subtle surprise. The younger sounding male voice adds enthusiasm and energy to the story while the older one brings a "grandfather's" tone of maturity. Sussman's female voice helps separate parts and adds a balance to the two male voices. P.A.J.
