Uh-oh The rain is falling fast on Noah, and the animals refuse to stay quiet With an oopsie-daisy here and a burp slurp there, everyone files into Old MacNoah's ark (two by two, of course) to escape the rising waters. The ride may be bumpy, but it's filled with plenty of Ee-i-ee-i-o excitement Get ready for the flood of sound effects and beautifully illustrated animals created by Sally Lloyd-Jones and Jill Newton. With the help of the classic "Old MacDonald" lyrics, this favorite Bible story gets a fabulous new twist that's perfect for sing-along fun.
SUPER Cute and silly! We really enjoy Sally Lloyd-Jones. My boys loved this one growing up. We’ve had a copy of this for years and I recently bought another on this site so my children will each have one for their children one day.
My grand toddler's favorite book
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
My granddaughter is 15 months old and loves Old MacDonald Had a Farm. After I bought Old McNoah for her, it quickly became her favorite book. She has a library of about 15 books (and growing!). When I ask her to get a book for me to read, she invariably gets Old McNoah. The pictures are eye catching and the sounds are even better. Whereas Old McDonald has a moo moo here and there, Old McNoah also has a bang bang (hammer), an oopsie daisey (the ark was crowded), a burp slurp (they had to eat) and a poo poo (they had to do other functions also!) in addition to the moos, quacks and oinks we have always heard. The pages are thick enough that a toddler can turn them without tearing them and it has provided hours of fun and education at my daughter's home.
