Old Friends

By: Eland, Lindsay

A touching and playful ode to friendship and home where an old dog and an old veterinarian find their way to each other.

Gramps may be the oldest dog at the Tollington Animal Shelter, but he'll try his paw at anything to find his special someone, especially if they love peanut butter as much as he does.

Dr. Ed, the veterinarian across town, is old too. With a little bit of courage, he might be willing to open his heart and let in the perfect sidekick to share his peanut butter cookies with and help him feel young again.

Packed with humor and propelled by hijinks, this heartfelt story inspired by the author's own experiences fostering and adopting many senior dogs proves it's never too late to make a friend.
