In this thesis, it has been the purpose of the writer to endeavor to portray the conditions under which Fort Supply, Oklahoma was established, the necessity for its continued existence and at the same time to present a few illustrations of life at a frontier post in the eighteen seventies and eighties. This thesis was written in 1941 for the degree of MA in History. This is not a scan of the original thesis. It has been reset using modern typeface for a cleaner, more legible archival copy.
