Old Family Photos

By G. B. Blakeslee

You've found a box of old photographs in an attic or a basement or a crammed-to-the-rafters garage. The photos are creased and stained and feature people you've never seen doing weird and silly things. You have no idea who these people are or why they're doing what they're doing, so you tape the box up and push it further back into the attic. Or... you send it to us, and we use every resource our Family has to identify the people in the photographs We talk to Aunt Edna, who knows exactly why all the men in a particular photo are naked We travel deep into the Illinois State Penitentiary system to speak to Uncle Hoyt about the photograph featuring a horse wearing a dress We scrutinize the family Bible, scan the clan Talmud, and search through all those teeny-tiny scraps of paper that Cousin Floyd kept in that old empty corn flake box, just to bring you the answer Then... we put it all in a book That you can read And look at This book contains eighty full-color pages of old black and white photographs from your family, each described with a short caption. It should explain everything you ever wanted to know about those long-lost family members. Plus a lot of things you didn't want to know...
