Totally useful in high school classroom

I've only had this book for a month or so, and I've already used four of the activities suggested in the book. This is a book that understands that people have great stories and ideas, but they don't know how to express them on the page. These activities by professional writers really get them thinking, and they also have built-in methods for revision. I've used this book with remedial, average, and advanced placement students with equal success. The activities in this book have helped my students create their best pieces of writing all year.
