'Oh. You aren't one of those "Feminists" are you?'

Is this a book on Feminism? It is not, I can't pretend to know enough about Feminism, its history, the politics, the good and bad and everything in-between. Though I would happily try my best to write one of those, that is not the kind of book I want to write. What I write here are thoughts I have and things I wish to say to you. Some of it may be important but some of it may not. Maybe none of it is, but I wanted to say it anyway, because I believe that we all have a story to tell. Now that I have found my voice, it would be a dishonour to myself to not use it, especially after the generations of women before me, who had fought so desperately hard to use theirs.
