This book gives you the positive outlook to succeed in your daily goals, and thoughts. The prayers are uplifting and motivating and they give you a way to communicate with God.

Refreshing, unique, simple prayers. No guilt required!

These prayers are unique, but they feel so familiar. Anne captures the elusive discomfort we humans feel, and binds it with words. Open this book to any page, read five minutes, and you'll feel better. Even super-serious people like me won't be able to hold back a smile. If you think you are too spiritually dignified to play, you really ought to read this book. It will knock that mindset right off its perch.One of my favorite sections is "Affirmations" which consists of a few pages filled with positive statements. I have read a lot about using affirmations, but these are different. Like the title says, they are "offbeat" and they are so appropriately "modern." By the time I finish reading them, I am absolutely beaming.There are also prayers to help you reach out to the Divine Source on those days that you feel totally earthbound and completely alone. At times like these, people often feel guilty about falling off the spiritual path. No worries -- there is no assigning of guilt in these words.People who dislike structured spirituality will particularly appreciate this book.
