"Off the Wall" is a very interesting book. Madison's teacher Mrs.Wing disappears, and if that's not bad enough Aimee's gone back on a puppy promise they decided back a long time ago. Another thing going on is that a mysterious writer MF13 is posting mean messages and now her friends are avoiding her! Could life get any worse? It just did! Madison found out that Ivy has been copying her lab notes! Arrgh! What should Madison do?

Truly "Off the Wall"!!

In this, the fifteenth installment of Laura Dower's "Madison Finn" series, there appears to be trouble in Finnland (get it: Finn; Finnland? maybe not), or at least where Madison's three best gal pals are concerned. After Madison is introduced to a seemingly innocent new message board online - appropriately called The Wall - she starts to understand that the Internet isn't always, well, friend-friendly. First Lindsay, then Fiona, and finally Aimee alienate themselves from our title character after reading falsified rumors about themselves on The Wall, posted by the mysterious "MF13". Al signs point to Madison as the culprit...but SHE knows she would never have written such offensive, secret things about her BFFs for everyone at Far Hills Junior High to see. Who really IS MF13, and can he or she be stopped before Maddie's life ends up completely destroyed? You'll have to read (and should read) to find out the ending to this next "Files" caper! As a twelve-year-old girl myself, I don't READ so much as DEVOUR these books each and every time I step into a bookstore. Dower does a wonderful job of creating a series that females ages 10-14 can relate to. In this and all the rest of the Madison Finn novels, she allows readers to delve into the world of her escapades while still being able to indentify with the friends, crushes and parental interventions the title heroin is faced with. Meawhile, Madison herself personfies the typical tween-age female antagonist we all know and love in our own lives. And the good news is, if you find Madison's over-thinking, often-pessimistic behavior too exaggerated to relate to, there's a supporting "cast" of characters with varied personas who often interact with the series' centerpiece chick (a.k.a. Madison Finn). ...Just be sure not to emulate the ever-evil Poison Ivy!

Madison Finn - Off the Wall

This was a pretty good book, but I think that it was also a little boring. Madison seems to be going thru a pretty hard time in this book .. but i would still reccomend it...it really is pretty good!

pretty good book

this is not one of my favorites from the madison finn series, but it was still a pretty good book.First mrs wing is missing and no one knows why, but then it turns out to be a good surprise.but what really kept my attention was when madison started going on to this new web site, and sees messages from a screen name which is meant to be her.the messages are cruel and about her friends, so then they get mad at her.after a while madison is in a huge mess, and has to find out who is posting these mean messages under her name.i would definetly reccomend this book, just because it wasnt my personal favorite, it was still good.
