Pietro Di Costance (pseudonym) is a well-known gay writer and poet, of Italian-American origin, who keeps his true sexual identity hidden from the eyes of society. Neighbor of the city of Arlington (Texas), the prejudices of the people of that state towards gays and lesbians have made him unable to shout before the world what his heart and his body feel. If he did so, he would risk being fired from his job at a major construction company in his city, since society and the laws of Arlington, and Texas in general, still do not admit the homosexual condition of many people, men and women, even considering it a disease.
For that reason, and for no other, he has published different stories and poems under this and other pseudonyms on various platforms.
