Great historical novel !

This book tells a compelling story of how a group of European Jews journeyed to Israel during World War II. Their journey, which was expected to last a few months, lasted more than four years, took them through a number of friendly and pro-Nazi countries, and involved a shipwreck. A story of courage, leadership, perseverance, and strength of human spirit. A great read for anyone with interest in European history
