Disappointed

I really wanted to like this book. But much like the Vietnam war itself, it was disjointed and frantic. Actually, no particular narrative that one can follow, it is simply a bunch of war stories that you can hear at any VFW. So I did read it, but was terribly disappointed and can not recommend it.
