This book, Oduduwa Was Nupe: How the Yoruba People Originated from Nupe, is an elaboration and an expansion of the first section of my popular book Nupe the Origin. After the repeated publication and widespread distribution and circulation of my very popular book Nupe the Origin for almost two decades the need arose that I should expand each of the different sections of the book Nupe The Origin into different books on their own. That was how came about this book How the Yoruba People Originated from Nupe.The format and general outline of this book How the Yoruba People Originated from Nupe is not different from the parent section from which it was derived from my book Nupe the Origin. The only difference is that this present book is a further elaboration and serious expansion on the section from the parent book. So, while the parent section in the book Nupe The Origin is some 200 pages, this present book is close to 300 pages.The close to two decades that the book Nupe The Origin has been in circulation has generated a lot of questions and the need for some explanations and elaborations that cannot necessarily be added directly to the book Nupe The Origin which is already close to 1000 pages. There was, therefore, the need to break the major sections of book Nupe The Origin into daughter books. This book How the Yoruba People Originated from Nupe is the result of elaboration of the section with the same title in the book Nupe the Origin. There are other sections, like How the Hausa People Originated from Nupe and How the Middle Belt People Originated from Nupe that have been similarly elaborated into books on their own just like this present book.Thank you and Happy Reading.
