All the efforts to change the world for the better during the previous eras of human existence failed woefully because the people of the past wanted to have their cake and eat it, too. This is because they want to tell a new story without discarding the old one. They want to tell a new story about one human race without redefining humanity and about one method by which the world could be known unanimously without discarding the old methods that delineate.

The best of all possible ways to change the world, however, is by telling a new story that begins with a radically different definition of humanity, and that has a single but all-encompassing worldview by which the world is probed at its center with the goal of fashioning a new lifestyle for mankind. Such a story would be told thus: there exist the Od M'ar s, a very diverse set of beings in the world that are united by their lifestyle that is centered on self-discovery and improvement, and that flourish because of their worldview that is based on discovering, inventing, and formulating what will improve the lot of
everyone and everything in the world.
