Having been involved with the youth ministries of evangelism and discipleship for some time, my wife Fran and I have faced the same observation from many new believers. Speaking of their recent decision of salvation by trusting Jesus, they say something like, "I don't think it worked; I'm still sinning". They have a lack of understanding of the change that has occurred in them and what they should do next. One thing I can tell you about idealistic teens and young adults (and probably older adults too), they don't want to be known as hypocrites. They know there needs to be a change, but because of their lack of understanding of God and His Word, they can't imagine what that change might be. Then they struggle. They want to be real, but it's not obvious what they should do. Our prayer for this book is simple; that by reading this book we can guide you through some simple concepts from God's amazing book called the Bible.
