I haven't read reviews before watching the movie. This might not be the wisest choice, but it worked for me. The story turned out to be pretty standard, so it wasn't hard to guess every step and the ending. Still, that doesn't take away from the fun. You might even want to watch it again to catch the subtle clues and the not-so-subtle ones.
I was surprised by the mix of actors. Seeing Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman playing virtually the same characters that they played in many movies saved time in trying to figure them out in the story.
For the technical, I only saw the Blu-ray version. Blu-ray is no longer unique, but they also did not have to create extra CGI to show it off.
The story:
It is after the war (Earth vs. aliens), naturally, we won, or you would not be seeing the movie. However, the Earth is a goner, and everyone moved to a home on Titan. The effective team of Jack and Victoria is cleaning up the last of the oceans needed for their new home.
Only Jack seems to see some inconsistencies in his life and mission. Slowly, the truth is revealed. You don’t know Jack. Jack may be pressured to take sides and act.
