This collection of essays covers various topics of contemporary philosophy and religion, as well as current issues concerning education. Says the author, "I made many presentations at scholarly conferences, and the present work gathers what I consider the most significant. Now retired, Ignacio L. G?tz grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, "now an enslaved country I cannot visit. I also lived in India for many years, and I retain a profound interest in Indian life, history, and religious ideas. I devoted my life to teaching, having made my first classroom presentation when I was fourteen. I keep in contact with many of my former students. I live now in a rural area of North Carolina where mail isn't even delivered, but where nature is alive in all its glory. Having lived in the Andes and the Himalayas, I now am soothed by waters of the Atlantic Ocean." This is his 23rd book.
