Fayre Aeraloth believed herself to be destined for greatness. The heir to the throne of the Elven city of Serin Thalor, she thought that she would take her father's throne when she was of age and live a long, happy life, despite being a half-elf. But when she was discovered at a party, her entire belief system is skewed.

Fayre, in fear of the rejection she faces from her people, leaves Serin Thalor in search of a fated jewel which will activate a magic necklace that has been in her family for thousands of years. Through this, she meets the Sidereals, a family of moon elves who respect her for who she is, not what she could be. But her duties call her to make a tough choice, one that Evian Sidereal desires to assist her in. The two leave, in search of the lost piece of that fated necklace, with no clue as to what lies ahead.
