Oasis IV - Katerna

The Cantos have escaped the planet, called S-233 by Space Command, and are heading to their home world called Katerna. They plan to lick their wounds, make repairs and obtain another fleet. But the existing leader, one Kaffaar P'ris, has been told that they are traitors and cowards and not worthy of a welcome. He sends a fleet to destroy them so the fleeing Cantos make a deal with the pursuing human fleet led by Admiral Sykes. Now Space Command has two worries, can they trust Govern S'Ler, leader of a possible civil war on Katerna or is it a trick so will they can be attacked on two fronts.
