Summary:
In the magical land of Everlune, fairies and pixies do NOT get along. Fairies think pixies are spooky, creepy and rather suspicious; pixies think fairies are ditzy, glitter obsessed airheads-and both think it's better to keep their distance from each other. So when the magical Star Stones that power Everlune begin to fade, the last thing anyone expects is for a fairy and a pixie to join forces to save them. Whimsy is bright, bubbly, and bursting with color. Nyx is edgy, sharp-tongued, and not exactly a people person. Thrown together by fate (and maybe a little magical sabotage), these two total opposites must work together to fix the fading magic before Everlune is lost forever. The unlikely pair head out on a desperate quest in search of a cure. But they soon realize that fixing magic isn't as simple as casting a spell, and that while magic may come from the stars, healing must come from the heart. Along the way, Nyx and Whimsy will face giggling Tingtoodlers, magical mishaps, the Peaks of Peril-and the even scarier challenge of understanding each other.
