This book reflects research whose general objective was to learn about some aspects related to nurses' professional stress and their alcohol consumption patterns. The Nurses' Occupational Stress Scale was created and validated; and a diverse knowledge of nurses' occupational stress and alcohol consumption was obtained. No statistically significant relationship was found between these two entities: neither does alcohol consumption influence the level of professional stress, nor does the level of professional stress influence alcohol consumption.
