A compressible turbulence model based on the kappa-zeta (enstrophy) model of Robinson et al. is developed. The model incorporates a new compressibility correction model that is quite different from previous models. Results are compared to the mixing layer data compiled by Settles and Dodson. It is shown that the predictions of the theory are in good agreement with experiment. Moreover, the present model is superior to the kappa-epsilon model with traditional compressibility corrections.
