Numerical Methods for Engineers (Mathematics for Engineers)

These are my lecture notes for my online Coursera course, Numerical Methods for Engineers . I have divided these notes into chapters called Lectures, with each Lecture corresponding to a video on Coursera. At the end of each lecture chapter, there are problems to solve and MATLAB programs to write. For the MATLAB programs, I provide Learner Templates for the code skeleton in the book's Appendix. There is a small MATLAB programming project to complete at the end of each week of lectures. Students who take this course are expected to already know matrix algebra, differential equations and vector calculus. Students should also be able to write computer programs, although MATLAB will be taught in the first week of the course.
