Intriguing

TV Series 2005–2010. It looks like 119 episodes. There are a gazillion detective programs with a bazillion gimmicks. We have natural and supernatural; we have stand-alone and team-based (sometimes animals or aliens). This tricky little ditty is math-oriented. As if we did not already know it, we are treated to math tricks for detecting evil cabals and just plain evil people. Overlapping this are hallmark-type stories, verging on soap opera, about the family and friends involved. Aside from indulging in mathematical formulas and theories, this takes place in the Los Angeles region, so for people who know the area, it is fun to hear the name-dropping of cities and nearby places. This critter lasted for six seasons, and they never ran out of fresh ideas. It is worthy of rewatching and bingeing.
