Intriguing

TV Series 2005–2010. It looks like 119 episodes. There are a gazillion detective programs with a bazillion gimmicks. We have natural and supernatural; we have stand-alone and teams (sometimes animals or aliens). This tricky little ditty is math-oriented. As if we did not know it already, we are treated to how to detect evil cabals and just downright evil people with math tricks. Overlapping this are hallmark verging on soap opera stories about the family and friends involved. Aside from indulging in mathematical formulas and theories, this takes place in the Los Angeles region, so for people who know the area, it is fun to hear name-dropping of Cities and places nearby. This critter lasted for six seasons, and they never ran out of fresh ideas. It is worthy of re-watching and binging.
