Gain years of experience in two days by reading this book!

I have no idea what is wrong with the reviewer who tore this book in half, trashed it, and gave it one star. If you are at the level of "how do I set up a user acount" in NT4 this book is certainly not for you. There are literally tons of books on how to do that. This book is a summation of years of experience that gets right down to the real deal and expects you to have only a reasonable understanding of NT4 and networks in general at that. If you are looking for a book that can give you concise, to the point, valuable insights into designing and administering NT4 networks, read this book. You will refer to it again and again and appreciate it more and more as the years go by. Thanks Matthew for a great book.
Refreshingly Different

I enjoy chatting with other network administrators about real world problems and solutions and that's what it's like reading this book. Matthew obviously has a lot of experience and great ideas. Granted he doesn't go into detail about alot of the simpler things like mapping drives, assigning privileges and the basics. It's more of an intermediate to advanced conversation. If your looking for basics buy a good text book like IDG MCSE Study Guide but if you love talking shop with your other NT friends you will love this book.
