What happened half a century ago? What is happening today?

The program is a good collection of what was happening and what people were thinking at the time. Packed with interviews and documents. Lots of film clips to supplement. I keep straining my neck to read the book titles behind some of the presenters. “Brother Dave Gardner” (1926-1983) said in his RCA Victor album "Rejoice, Dear Hearts!" (1959), that it is Germans on both sides playing Rocketship. A good portion of this presentation is of Germans playing Rocketship. The bulk of the documentary takes it from zero through all of the high points in building rockets. This program almost becomes a tribute to the life and times of “Dwight D. Eisenhower” (1890-1969). The presentation said all it did was cost and beep for three weeks, then three months later, it burned. If we wait 50 years to tell what is happening today, it will be too late for me. Rats.
