It tells the tale with lots of flash.

Nova ScienceNow Season 5 Episode 5 Wed, Feb 16, 2011. It starts with the origin of the solar system. So, it has quite a way to go to get to us. The presentation shows what it promises. However, they are trying to pack too much into the presentation, so we get big gaps in technology and history. Look at it as the Reader’s Digest condensed version. There is nothing wrong with science or speculation. It just feels like fluff. The presentation style is very flashy and tries too hard to be cute. If you know the information, this is boring; if you do not know the information, it is not well described. They do point out the importance of RNA, which gets lost nowadays. But the experiments were done years ago, so the information is not new. They move from here to lice and rats and back to the beginning.
